Cherries and More Cherries

Last month’s Newsletter featured the benefits of Cherries, and a couple of days later someone gave me this link for a recipe to try.

Not only did the recipe contain figs (which were new to me), but it was totally raw (no baking) and the girl in the video had so much energy, it was great to watch.

Of course I couldn’t resist the temptation of trying something new, especially with the goodness of Cherries.

So I got my supplies ready.  And there were a lot of supplies!

Everything had to be prepped:  (I had a couple of helpers for this task!)

Needless to say, this was probably the longest and most time-consuming recipe I have ever attempted to complete.

But in the end, after some raw macadamia and pecans  were added, and Mr. Vita-mix did his job… We had 4 delicious bowls of Raw Cherry Cobbler:

OH MY YUM!!!!   Yes, it was modified from the original.   Yes, mine doesn’t look near as pretty as hers,  but it sure did taste good!!!

And if you don’t have time to make that crazy cherry cobbler, just eat the pitted cherries plain because they are full of cherry goodness!
